FullertonWireless For Businesses
With the reinvention of the mobile salesman, businesses with Wi-Fi tend to attract mobile office users. Following the current trend of coffee
houses and fast food restaurants to implement wireless networks, providing Internet service to your customer base tends to increase business
revenues.
FullertonWireless is an outdoor mesh network. Its signal is not expected to be uniformly available throughout buildings in downtown Fullerton.
However, businesses in the area covered by the FullertonWireless signal have been given the option of bringing the signal indoors to their
customers by purchasing inexpensive repeaters and wireless routers that cost no more than $300 per site.
Businesses where connectivity is available indoors are so identified by special decals that appear in doors or windows. Below is an example of
a decal that identifies a business with indoor FullertonWireless connectivity.
How to Participate:
CDCE Incorporated will provide businesses and institutions within the FullertonWireless coverage area the ability to extend the outdoor wireless
Internet services indoors into their main business environment. A wireless Internet bridge and router will enable businesses to connect to the
network and bring the signal indoors to their customers. Businesses in the downtown area are being given the option of bringing the signal indoors
